I actually made it to try on dresses today! Click here to see the photo album. Yeah, we had fun. :oD
I also picked out what I want to be my flowers: Pink Rose and Lily of the Valley
The only trouble is that these are both very expensive flowers. So, my backup is Pink Carnation and White Babies Breath (there is one where the flowers are a little larger than the teeny accents in boquets).

Very cute, lilies of the valley! Roses are only expensive depending on the type. At the flower market, the ones similar to the ones you have pictured aren't as expensive as you might think, although I don't remember if they had high quantities of pink instead of ored.
I think those flowers make a very nice combination. As for the dresses, I really liked... what was it? Pictures 4, 5, and the last one, I think. I don't know if they were all different dresses, but those ones with the sort of "wrapped-around" look were very nice on you.
oh and sam's club does sell babies breath
These were my roses...remember I wanted them deliberately overbloomed looking. When they arrived, they were buds.
here is a better shot of the flowers. (This wasn't the finished product--they weren't so naked looking when I was done ;) )
My church bridal shower was tea party themed. We found tea pots at thrift stores and filled them with flowers to make the centerpieces. Maybe collecting them between now and then and then arranging the flowers in them yourselves could keep the costs down? Even if you just did the centerpieces (which wont be in most photos) yourselves but ordered your bouquets from a florist, if you really don't want to do them yourselves. I felt comfortable doing my centerpieces because I knew no one would care if they weren't perfect, and they weren't going to be in all my photos.
