Two of my bridesmaids do not want to buy the dress I picked out. Now we are in a time crunch with less than 2 1/2 months to go and no bridesmaid dresses.
Ask them nicely to do this for you. Tell them you need their support rather than their complaints. Tell them you know that you are asking a lot from them, but could they just do this for you to make your day special? There was obviously a reason why you chose them, and you really just need them to be positive about it right now.

make them wear tuxedoes...then you only have to rent them.
