Today we go to see if my engagement ring needs resized, and to start looking at possible wedding rings. I really hope we can find something nice that 1) links with my engagement ring, 2) has a coordinating ring for Jason, and 3) is not too expensive.
Am I asking too much?

I vote that you avoid Robbins Bros (too $$$). Also, anything custom made will cost much more.
Jason got the engagement ring at Facets 58 in Huntington Beach and was VERY pleased (with service, price, quality, warranty, etc), so we are going back there to begin the search.
I agree with Melissa just say no to Robins Bros! Paul and I went in seperatly to two different ones and both of us got crappy service and they were way expensive.
Well, Robins Bros has never even been a consideration. We are pretty sure we'll get them the same place Jason got my engagement ring. We went yesterday and found a couple that we really like. The lady gave us a price $100 lower than the sticker on Jason's, and is looking to see what she can do about mine. We are both very pleased with this place.
We got our wedding bands made at a Korean jeweler's place in the City of Industry off of Fullerton Rd/Gale. I would recommend them, if you're looking into having things made. They were very friendly and affordable.
