Tuxedo

I like this. I'm trying to decide between regular tie and bow tie, though.

That's a good idea. I'll see what the guys thing.

I am still trying to go with the Victorian look, but I need to do a little more research, so this might change.

Victorian look, eh? Tails. Victorians were big on coattails.

And you'll want to go with a bowtie or some other smallish neck ribbonish thing, too. Or the black buttons. I don't seem to remember any Victorian neckties.

Actually, ruffles were more Elizabethan, where they put so many around their neck they looked like a bird that had tried to swallow a dinner plate.

By the Victorian era ruffles were prettymuch gone from men's clothes (save for the occasional light ruffle around the cuff of the sleeve, but that would have been considered "old-fashioned").

Women's clothes, on the other hand....

According to what I've read, ruffles came and went with Victorian. Like I said, I'm still researching, so I might change the look, but I really like this.

I hear ruffles made a big comeback in the late 20th century, as well, though this time they were less of a fashion statement and more of a... grease... statement....

Yeah.
